Day 1: Marrakech – Telouet - Skoura

Depart at 8am with our 4x4 driver, heading to Dades Valley. After crossing the High Atlas and its breathtaking landscapes, we cross Berber villages to Telouet, take a lunch break in the old village, then continue through the Ounila Valley, a real canyon that will impress you! When you arrive in Ait Benhaddou, a visit to the ksar, which served as a filming location for several international films and whose decorations will remind you of certain scenes, is a must. At the end of the afternoon, continue to our accomodation in Skoura.

Day 2: Skoura – Rose Valley – Dades Valley – Todra Gorgers – Merzouga.

09:00 Departure for Merzouga; we begin the day by walking through the Toudra Gorge, a lush valley that attracts climbers from all over the world; we then continue to Erfoud, a site well known for its fossils at the foot of the dunes; dinner and night in our luxury camp in Merzouga.

Day 3: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Zagora.

After an early morning sunrise and breakfast, departure to Zagora. Crossing Tafilalt and the vast mineral Massif Bougafer and on to Anif and lunch in Tazzarine. Then on to Tansikhte via the desert track over the Reg between Jebel Rhart on the left and the Draa Valley on the right. On arrival in Zagora at the hotel, dinner and a night of good sleep.

Day 4: Zagora – Ghazala Camp.

In the morning we head toward Tamghoute , a village known for its green pottery and the largest Koranic library in Morocco. After this visit we will continue our journey to the Sacred Oasis and have lunch in the shade of a palm tree, then move on to the Chigaga dunes. These large dunes extend for 60km; a bivouac awaits you at the middle of the dunes. In the evening, ride a camel out in the dunes and watch the sunset over the sand. Back at the Ghazala Camp, a meal and the nomads entertainment awaits. You will be in a world of silence and beauty with a canopy of stars.

Day 5: Ghazala Camp (Camel Ride)

Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise in the dunes. Breakfast facing the dunes and adventure day in the desert. We recommend a camel trek with your local guide. Gentle walk through ergs and regs to discover the fauna, the flora and the nomadic people. Lunch in the middle of nowhere then return to the camp (possible route in 4wd). As options you can add quad excursions, massages, cooking classes. Night at Ghazala Camp

Day 6: Erg Chegaga – Foumzguid – Taznakht – Ait Ben Haddou.

Depart from the Camp by the sandy track crisscrossing the dunes, onto Lake Iriqui which by its magic made the glory days of the famous Paris-Dakar Rally. Back on the road to Foum Zguid. Homestead lunch with a family in Taznaght, capital of the relief carpets of the South. Arrive at Aït Ben Haddou to visit the kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often used as a backdrop for epic movies. Enjoy accommodation in a very comfortable hotel.

Day 7: Ait Ben Haddou - High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech.

Cross the Atlas by one of the most beautiful roads in Morocco. Take in splashes of colour and contrasts between the luxuriance of the valley and the aridity of the mountain, Berber villages, and breathtaking landscapes. Visit the kasbah of Telouet, the former palace of Pacha Glaoui. Lunch in the mountains then descend towards Marrakesh.
